| EMAT - What is That?
EMAT (European Multi-ethnic Alliance of Tucson, Inc.) is an umbrella organization for twenty European ethnic clubs. EMAT is a non-profit, non political, educational organization which provides support, fosters interaction, good will, and strength among European ethnic clubs and organizations. The primary goal is to produce greater community awareness, increased participation, and stronger representation for ethnic activities. Representatives for each European club attend meetings where upcoming activities are planned, and information given to the clubs concerning topics such as insurance, program ideas, suggested meeting places, how to contact International Students at the U of A, and other related topics. |
